Und jetzt versucht mal, diese Domain in einer E-Mail zu erwähnen! Stand heute ist, dass diese E-Mail nicht ankommen wird oder bestenfalls im Spam-Ordner landet.

Ich habe nachgeschaut, woran das liegt. Die Antwort: Spamhaus. Die umstrittene Anti-Spam-Bude hat Trump vorauseilenden Gehorsam geleistet und diese Website auf ihre Domain-RBL („real-time blacklist“) gesetzt, obwohl sie auf keiner Terrorliste steht, nirgendwo verboten ist und sicherlich auf keinen Spam versendet.

Weil die meisten E-Mail-Anbieter zur Spam-Abwehr die RBL von Spamhaus abfragen, bevor sie eine E-Mail zustellen, sind die Vorteile der Dezentralität von E-Mail heute nicht mehr gegeben.

Macht bitte Support-Tickets bei euren E-Mail-Anbietern oder direkt bei Spamhaus auf, wenn der Test bei euch so ausgeht, wie ich es beschrieben habe!

…et que ce soit ma principale, à mon nom, qui en soit victime d’au moins 3 par semaines, et répertoriée dans les banques de données piratées…

J'ai plus aucune adresse #mail... je ne sais pas où en créer une nouvelle... J'ai perdu 20 ans d'archives et de contacts. En vrai je m'en tape, ça ne me gêne pas de tout recommencer (quand je saurai où le faire) et de faire du vide. It’s been a long (but not enough) while, but I’d like to help friends investigate their #mail setup, completely from the outside, without having them send test mails etc. Are there (CLI) tools that one can throw received mails (e.g. stored in Maildirs) at, that would check at least the DKIM signature? I guess I could look at mail server implementation details (like filters, milters) but I’d be happy not to. This should be a one-shot… Thanks!

At @Vivaldi, we have chosen to include a lot of features not found in any other Web browser. This includes our mail client, calendar, task manager and feed reader. This is all a part of moving away from Big Tech as you can check your mail and calendar in Vivaldi and gradually move your mail service from Big Tech to one of the many mail services available, but access both from Vivaldi. This is the benefit of keeping the mail server and the mail client separate.

The feed reader is another great feature which allows you to subscribe to your favorite new sources and have them displayed in chronological order.

The calendar works with online services, but can also be used locally.

About 2 weeks ago I noticed my #Tuta #account was deleted after too long time without login. Well, I always thought it was more feature than bug - my main threat model is like "I want my data autodelete or at least become irreversibly encrypted/locked after my death". Luckily other accounts registered with that #email, like DeviantArt, ArtStation, public Gitlab were earlier deleted by me. There are my pre-migration fedi account and some niche Polish site for amateur writers left. I wouldn't be surprised if that Polish site would let just change email without verification...

I think the bigger problem here is my mental state, when I just couldn't notice time passing. It's last few years when I feel I lose control about this. Few months mysteriously disappeared... Damn, I still couldn't feel more than half of this year passed.

I will probably create new account. It is allowed when old account doesn't exist, right?

Now I wonder how to have similar effect on Proton or Disroot. And how to finally configure dead man's switch on my laptop to automatically turn it down after longer inactivity, to have really active LUKS encryption (and I use 30-33 character passwords for this so...)
