Interesting things going on, at least in the research group that I am working at.

Several members have expressed their dissatisfaction with recent #Microsoft and #Office365 developments. Apparently, every file on University of Helsinki OneDrive will have to be provided with descriptive metadata to improve Copilot365 usefulness, essentially meaning our research data etc will be gobbled up by AI.

As a result, some colleagues are not only switching to #Linux but looking at #Nextcloud. Hooray!

Bislang läuft eine Nextcloud-Instanz als lokale Cloud auf meinem NAS-Server in unserem Intranet. Ich bin jetzt bei meinem Umstieg zu Managed Nextcloud bei @hetzner
Registrierung, erste Einrichtung (u.a. Apps) liefen problemlos. Eine ergänzende Lösung für ein Backup, das länger als das von Hetzner (7 Tage) hält, habe ich auf meinem NAS eingerichtet. Jetzt migriere ich schrittweise die Daten. Die größte Herausforderung: Auf den Clients in den Anwendungen die Pfade anpassen.

Da ich gestern auch auf #SelfHosting angesprochen wurde...

Nicht jeder hat die Möglichkeit oder das Interesse an SelfHosting. Aber wenn man es "kann" und sich ein wenig unabhängiger machen möchte - es gibt viele Möglichkeiten!

Kleines persönliches Beispiel von mir:

Angefangen hatte ich mit einem ausgedienten Raspberry, auf der ich Nextcloud installierte. Mittlerweile - mit mehreren Zwischenstationen - steht bei mir daheim mit allen selbstgehosteten Diensten ein ausgedienter, gebrauchter Lenovo ThinkCentre, den ich letztes Jahr geschenkt bekommen hatte. Da wir noch eine dazu passende CPU hatten, bekam der ThinkCentre ein feines Upgrade auf einen i7. 😁

Darauf installiert ist Debian in der Minimal-Konfiguration und - weil ich es mir einfach machen wollte - Docker. Darüber habe ich u.a. installiert:

• #BookStack (dient mir als mein persönliches Server-Verwaltungs-Logbuch)
• #Glance (Dashboard)
• #Heimdall (Dashboard)
• #Homarr (Dashboard)
• #Immich (Foto-Verwaltung und Backup, ähnlich Google Photos)

• #Joplin (Umfangreiche Notizen-App)
• #Linkwarden (Bookmark-Verwaltung)
• #Mealie (Rezepte-Verwaltung)
• #OpenCloud (Backup-Cloud für Dateien aller Art, inkl. selbsgehosteten Office, Markdown und mehr)
• #Organizr (Dashboard)
• #SearXNG (Umfangreiche Suchmaschine)
• #Vaultwarden (Passwort-Verwaltung)
• #WordPress (Blogging-Software)

Zusätzlich werkelt darauf auch noch eine #Nextcloud, allerdings nicht über Docker installiert. Ein #Minecraft-Server ist darauf ebenfalls installiert sowie ein #Emulator zum zocken. 😎

Das alles nutze ich mal mehr, mal weniger.

Gerade bezüglich der Suchmaschine SearXNG war ich erst echt skeptisch. Aber ich nutze diese nun schon über ein Jahr und bin sehr, sehr zufrieden damit. Die Ergebnisse sind nicht - wie bei Google z.B. - voll mit zusammengefassten KI-Ergebnissen, die kein Mensch sehen möchte, sondern mit "echten" Ergebnissen.

Meine Fotos landen allesamt bei Immich - eine wundervolle Software, die ich gerne nutze. Auch die OpenCloud, deren Anfänge ich miterleben durfte, hat sich sehr etabliert und ist für meine gesamten Daten absolute Nummer 1 bei mir, da sie schnell und zügig lädt und Collabora Online als #selbstgehostete #Office-Lösung integriert hat.

Auch Bookstack finde ich super nützlich. Wenn ich Änderungen an der Konfiguration der Server vornehme, trage ich diese Änderungen mit Datum und Uhrzeit hier ein und kann später so nachsehen, was ich wann geändert habe. Ebenso habe ich mir in Bookstack Anleitungen hinterlegt, tägliche Checks, die ich auf den Servern durchführe und weitere Dinge, die ich einfach nur schnell per Copy & Paste ins Terminal einfügen kann.

Am Lenovo ThinkCentre angeschlossen habe ich 3 2,5 Zoll HDDs.

Thema Sicherheit: Das alles ist nur für mich in meinem lokalen Netzwerk erreichbar. Ausschließlich. Zusätzlich ist der Login abgesichert mittels #Yubikey (ein kleiner, physischer Hardware-Sicherheitsschlüssel).

Trotz all dieser Maßnahmen bin ich nach wie vor noch an einige Dinge gebunden. So nutze ich z.B. Proton. Auch habe ich meine persönliche Daten an mehreren Stellen als Backup hinterlegt, auch online, nicht nur bei mir selbstgehostet daheim.

Wer technisches Interesse und Verständnis hat, kann also auch diesen Schritt gehen und ein wenig unabhängiger werden, um von Google und Co. wegzukommen.

Und wer noch einen Schritt weitergehen möchte, kann natürlich auch seine ganz eigenes Mastodon, Friendica o.ä. auf seinem Heimserver installieren - auch das ist gut umsetzbar. So kann man sich noch einen Schritt unabhängiger machen. Die Möglichkeiten, digital unabhängiger zu werden sind groß - man muss es nur umsetzen! 😉

From own experience, small tip for anybody upgrading #nextcloud and seeing the process stuck in the last step (updating database schema):

It is *really* slow, even for a small / vanilla instance, and does not provide adequate warning to that effect.

Let it run for hours (overnight) before assuming the installation is broken 🤦 and embarking on time-consuming reinstalls...

This time, I somehow managed to delete all the data from my Nextcloud folder on my laptop AND on my Nextcloud server. Good thing I have backups. The latest was just last night. It'll take a while, but at least I can recover.

Sous Dropbox comme sous Nextcloud (en version windows *) il est possible d'utiliser des répertoire en mode virtuel, c'est à dire uniquement en ligne.

Je pensais :

Avoir la possibilité de définir la capacité maximale en octets de tout répertoire permettrait aussi d'avoir un mode automatique : s'il y a assez de place le fichier est aussi conservé localement sinon il est en ligne. Et cela permet de ne pas remplir le disque puisque la contrainte de taille maximale.

(*) sous linux le client Nextcloud ne le fait pas mais on peut avoir un client gnome par exemple qui affiche le contenu en ligne.

💡 Je suis d'accord avec la plupart des alternatives citées, sauf au moins 2 :

- #OnlyOffice à remplacer par #CollaboraOnline qui est un "vrai projet libre", vraiment transparent, avec une vraie communauté, et une intégration parfaite dans #Nextcloud. OnlyOffice est un projet open-core et exploite le format de fichiers de #Microsoft (#openXML).

- #Qwant a longtemps été une véritable blague en raison de sa forte dépendance de Microsoft (des progrès sont en cours, mais grande méfiance !)

I'm always surprised by the sheer size of backups - this time 15GB (ugh!) broken down as follows (from biggest to smallest):

#PeerTube: 4.3 GB
#NextCloud: 3.0 GB
#Pixelfed: 1.5 GB
#LinkStack: 91 MB

I'm brainstorming ways to make my GoToSocial backup size go down... I have cache set to 1 day only, so I'm trying unfollowing a few accounts (that I already follow from my Mastodon profile) to see if that makes a difference.

Ich lese immer sehr viel von digitaler Unabhängigkeit. Bei Messengern weg von #WhatsApp. Beim Betriebssystem hin zu #Linux. #Libreoffice statt #MsOffice. Hin zu #Nextcloud und damit weg von #GoogleDrive, #iCloud, #Dropbox, #OneDrive & Co.
Bei Finanz lese ich aber immer nur #Wero statt #Paypal. Und da klemmt es schon. Wero ist unnötig kompliziert gemacht. Damit die Einstiegsschwelle hoch. Warum zum Teufel muss meine Bank es anbieten. Bei PayPal ist die Bank auch scheißegal.
Und worüber niemand spricht: Schaffen einer europäischen Alternative zu #Visa, #Mastercard, #AmericanExpress. Da müssen wir auch ran.

Hop, transfert des notes de #obsidian vers #joplin fait.

Je suis pas encore certain de mon choix. Surtout parce que c'est pas aussi direct pour la rédaction/édition de mes billets de blog et de wiki. Ça demande un export supplémentaire parce que joplin laisse pas choisir le nom du fichier #markdown

Par contre la synchro entre PC et smartphone sans intermédiaire dégueu via mon #nextcloud, c'est top.

On va voir ce que ça donne au quotidien.

Derzeit nutze ich eine Nextcloud, die im Haus auf einem NAS läuft. Doch irgendwie ist mir die Verwaltung zu nervig.

Kann jemand mit mir hier eigene Erfahrungen mit Managed Nextcloud eines deutschen Anbieters (z.B. IONOS) für Privatnutzer/Familien (bis 5 User, 1 TB) teilen?

Gestern war meine Instanz nicht erreichbar, obwohl sie im Docker lief. Ich war wieder mal IT-Admin in der Fehlersuche, die nichts ergab. Dann lief plörzlich wieder alles.

Zur Zeit habe ich viel Papierkram und Orga-Zeug. Da fällt mir erst richtig auf, wie sehr mir unsere Nextcloud-Familiien-Instanz hilft.

Egal von welchem Rechner, oder vom Handy: Datei hochladen, ordentlich ablegen, und von überall zugreifen. Keine schnüffelnden Amis*, keine blödsinnige KI-Integration, keine Werbung.

Einfach ein Tool, das tut, was es soll. Die 5€ Hosting pro Monat ist das locker wert.

#Microsoft und USA #cloud ade! Seit jetzt zwei Monaten auf #Linux mit eigener #Nextcloud, und ich muss sagen, ich bin begeistert. Man merkt so extrem, dass die Linux-basierten Betriebssysteme einfach von Usern für User sind. Alles, was mir in 25 Jahren Microsoft auf den Sack ging, ist bei Mint einfach besser oder konfigurierbar. Ich trauere so sehr, dass es Linux Mint nicht schon vor 20 Jahren gab, als ich 15 war. Dann wäre ich nach den zwei Monaten schon Profi, weil ich noch die Zeit gehabt hätte, täglich zehn Stunden zu suchten 😂
Ich möchte gern so viele Menschen wie##@ möglich bekehren!

Bon, je m'améliore dans la configuration des nombreuses options de NextCloud, et je cherche une appli qui se connecterait à l'agenda NC, qui me permettrait de mettre des pièces jointes dans mes rendez-vous. J'avais ça chez Family Wall, et c'était super pratique !

Je peux passer par F-droid pour l'installer, j'ai essayé Etar, mais je ne l'aime pas trop. Il y a bien Fossify, mais je n'arrive pas à savoir si je peux mettre des PJ (leur site est en construction, et les descriptions ne me donnent pas cette info).

des suggestions ?

Je commence à m'intéresser à nouveau aux flux RSS, que j'utilisais avec Netvibes du temps des blogs, mais plus depuis longtemps.
Ce serait plutôt pour gérer ma veille cybersécurité, donc orienté pro.

#FreshRSS ressort beaucoup, mais je n'arrive pas à comprendre comment l'utiliser sans auto-hébergement. Mon abonnement chez Infomaniak ne me permet pas de l'installer.

Thing is, when you want to report an issue in the NC repo, they ask you to switch to the admin user and run something. I forgot I did so.

I switched back to my own user and everything was there :) Next time, use a private tab!

New year, new attempt to install #Nextcloud on #OpenBSD. I'm a lot closer to a working system than the last time I tried but still not quite there.

This time I at least have a Nextcoud web page, after fixing the assumptions made in the KB I clearly didn't understand the first 25 times around.

ElementaryOS looks good! Sleek, modern, functional. Not intimidating at all.

Also, I'm always impressed with how easy #Nextcloud makes setting up a new machine. Install the client, enter your account data, and boom, your files are synching in the background.

My mother in law prefers to print pictures taken from her phone then delete the files rather than syncing with my self-hosted cloud platform. It's not transparent enough for her. I should give nextcloud a try so her phone automatically syncs photos and videos without intervention.

Let’s review which self-hosting service really worked for me in 2025.

I rarely talk about the one that just work. That’s the problem with good work … if something just works, and doesn’t bother you… you tend to forget about it even exists because using it is more a habit than an effort.

Paperless NGX

My almost daily work horse is Paperless NGX. It’s my default for all documents. My local printer-scanner has the Paperless Inbox set as default scanning target. All incoming snail mail that is worth archiving get’s scanned and sent to Paperless.

Paperless does the tagging automatically (with local machine learning models). Sometimes I have to correct a correspondent or a tag. But mostly it get’s it right.

Immich

This is my Google Photos replacement. A client on my iPhone constantly backs up my photos to my self-hosted Immich instance. It archives and indexes the photos (also with local machine learning models) so that I can search for faces and other objects.

NextCloud

My document sync backend. Mostly using it share files between devices and host contacts. Not using any fancy features or plugins. Really just for file sharing.

Occasionally sharing files with 3rd parties via temporary links.

My Joplin notes and OmniFocus files are synced via the NextCloud WebDAV interface.

Mastodon

Of course… one of the most widespread Fediverse software out there.

Hosting my own Bookmark service for years. Using the robust Links software for this.

About that #Nextcloud calendar thing, it was spotted (by @Anarcat and others) that having the date backwards and the AM/PM thing might be linked to something flowing from the browser side, not entirely under the web application's control.

This led me to spot GNOME in Debian 12 offers Language vs. Formats under Region & Language.

Keeping English as language, I switched Formats to “France (Français)” and now Nextcloud has DD/MM/YYYY and 24-hour format.

Nouvelle version beta de mon alternative à #NextCloud, #KaraDAV.

C'est un serveur #WebDAV complet qui intègre une interface web de gestion de fichiers et qui est compatible avec les applis NextCloud, ownCloud et OpenCloud sur Android et ordinateur.

Cette version ajoute les applications externes (super simple : iframes avec auth), un nouveau design, et une refonte de l'UI du gestionnaire de fichiers web.

Prochaine étape si j'ai du temps c'est la traduction en français.

My alternative to #NextCloud, #KaraDAV, just had a new beta release.

This is a fast #WebDAV server with integrated web UI for file management, and compatibility with NextCloud, ownCloud and OpenCloud desktop and mobile apps.

This new version adds support for integrating external apps (as iframes, but with authentication), a brand new design and logo, and a complete overhaul of the file manager UI.

Next step might be to add multiple language support if I have some time

@mhoye face and people recognition in my offline only photo management software (#digikam). #nextcloud also has this, with also contents recognition (mountains, sea, dogs, etc).

Tired of Dropbox nagging me to upgrade to their $12/mo offering, I decided to check out #nextcloud. Installed the server on a $5/mo Linode instance and it's looking good.

I mostly want a file-sync solution rather than a "content collaboration platform", so the enterprise/team features often feel balky. Too much is turned on by default. Featureitis.

But! It works. And is open source. And is my lifeboat from Dropbox. Thanks @nextcloud!

Yesterday I spun up a Nextcloud instance that will be a shared resource for multiple communities that I am a part of.

1. Reverse proxy rules updated by Ansible
2. VM created by terraform
3. Nextcloud/postgres/nginx/TLS certs set up by Ansible

After I edited a few text files, it took a bit over 10 minutes to between nothing, and fully working #Nextcloud server.

#SelfHosting is great

𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 équipe déjà des milliers d'associations, collectifs militants, lieux d’entraide, personnes qui changent le monde…

Hello ! En ce moment, j'essaye de quitter #Google et notamment #GoogleDocs pour #NextCloud et sa solution #collabora (merci #gresille !).

J'essaye d'exporter-importer des slides :
- en .odp, ça me fout en l'air toute la présentation.
- en pptx, c'est mieux, mais un rafraîchissement navigateur, et hop, magie, le formatage est tout pété
- même quand je change certains réglages, Collabora ne sauvegarde pas, et (exemple une marge à gauche dans une zone de texte) au rafraîchissement du doc, c'est tout pété à nouveau

C'est très très énervant et je suis à deux doigts d'abandonner.

Une solution à ça ?
Refaire toutes les master slides depuis Collabora (flemme) ?

J'utilise Nextcloud photo, qui était préalablement pourri mais a bcp progressé je trouve (albums, carte, reconnaissance des visages, des monuments, tags automatique).

Anyone know of a clever way to automatically keep select files on a #WebDAV share available offline, that works really well for you? I'm hoping for a FUSE filesystem or (since I'm a #GNOME guy) a Nautilus plugin or some gvfs helper.

To be clear, I'd love that thing to sync the remote file to a local copy while the WebDAV share is mounted, then transparently switch to the local copy when the connection goes away, and then resync once it comes back.

I'm currently planning my written tutorial for #YunoHost - from the POV of a newbie.

The guide will have a simple but ambitious goal: to encourage non-technical people to try self-host their own #NextCloud instance... and show them that it's something accessible to all, thanks to the wonderful https://YunoHost.org

I have tried other similar tools and YunoHost IMHO is simply the best and most secure solution. I've been using it for 11 months now and I have ZERO complaints. It just works... and it's effortless.

I'm thinking of splitting my written tutorial in a 3-part series... because doing everything in one go for a non-technical person could be overwhelming.

Part 1: registering a domain name and signing up for a VPS*

* yes I know technically you could forgo a domain name but I think having one is more empowering long term... and I'd go the VPS route because it's the most headache-free for a newbie. I can do the whole thing in 12 minutes with a VPS... and experienced headaches with a Raspi. I think for a total newbie the VPS is the way to go... especially if we factor in security issues. The stakes are lower

Part 2: installing YunoHost and tweaking DNS settings (assigning domain for NextCloud and creating a subdomain for YunoHost admin stuff, etc.)

Part 3: installing NextCloud (which people voted for when I asked which app I should install in my tutorial) and seeing what it can do.

Thoughts?

Is a 3-part series overkill or ok? I'd like to encourage people to set aside 30 minutes a day for this, so that the whole thing is not too overwhelming.

De plus le client desktop en C++ synchronise parfaitement : yay -S opencloud-desktop
Il y a également un client Android... #Nextcloud lourdingue en PHP/SGBD a du soucis à se faire..
Par contre ne pas oublier d'ajouter cette variable d'environnement si l'on est derrière un reverse proxy : PROXY_TLS = "false"

I'm currently in progress of migrating the rest of my #Google data into #Nextcloud ahead of mass deleting it on the Google side. No particular reason other than it's long overdue and I don't want to pay for Google One.

Why Nextcloud feels slow to use

#collaboraoffice is excellent free alternative to Googles collaborative office technology, its based on Libre Office technology, #collabora is the largest contributor to #libreoffice and does a lot of other good for #freesoftware . You can install it super easy if you have a #nextcloud instance, or if you use a nice cloud host, or for no charge if you want to learn some systems administration and use your own hardware.

On a un peu tendance à l'oublier, mais en fait, 10 Go quand on stocke des mp3, ça fait un sacré grand nombre de morceaux.

Tout ça pour dire que je commence à migrer des morceaux que j'aime écouter sur mon instance nextcloud de chez @zaclys pour écouter de la zik à partir de ça avec l'appli supersonic sur mon ordi. Je suis donc full free open-source là, tout de suite, l'air de rien :)
(Faut que je migre les morceaux de Joe Hisaishi sans DRM acheté récemment, d'ailleurs)

I have been using @bitwarden@fosstodon.org since 2019, and been a premium subscriber for most of that time. Due to their recent hyping of AI, I am interested in switching away. In this post, I have gone through every single password manager on @flathub@floss.social and compared them. The comparison is based around my use case and preferences, but I figure someone else might benefit from it too. I'm also very interested in any advice and recommendations y'all may have.

I am currently limiting my search to password managers that have desktop apps. Arguably this is an unnecessary restriction: Bitwarden has a desktop app, but the vast majority of the time I just rely on the Firefox extension, which can even work offline. However, I occasionally clear my local Firefox data, so I feel a bit safer having passwords in a separate desktop app.

Current leader
So far I am liking Gnome Secrets (desktop) and KeepassDX (Android). However, there does not seem to be a way to get Secrets to autofill on websites.

I'll give Bitwarden a few weeks to see if they can resolve their AI issues. If not, I'll probably suck it up and lose autofill.

I sent Bitwarden's customer service an email (using the email tied to my Bitwarden Premium account so they know I'm a customer). Here's what I asked them

I have a few questions about Bitwarden's AI use that I hope you can answer.

1) Do you think it is safe to let an AI move and manipulate passwords? Even if it's a "local" AI, How can the AI can be trusted not to incorrectly copy or "hallucinate" an incorrect password?
2) You've repeatedly stated that the MCP is optional and separate from the "standard" Bitwarden clients and server. Can we trust that you will never, under any circumstance, inject AI into the main Bitwarden experience?
3) Are you using AI to develop the main Bitwarden clients and server?

Thanks for your interest in the Bitwarden MCP project! This is a standalone project that is separate from all other Bitwarden products like Password Manager. The project is considered a proof of concept and not suitable for production use.

I just had issues with upgrading to the latest #NextCloud. In short, the GroupFolders app was not compatible with the new version and somehow broke everything. Had to disable the app, tried to update al apps (including GF, but that one failed), then finished the NC upgrade, then finished updating all apps, then reenabled the app.

We also host Nextcloud for one client and also another instance for ourselves. I use it most for calendaring.

From here on out, though, we are looking for a different solution for "cloud" type file storage: an alternative to Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive.

We are pretty confident we've found a good solution in OpenCloud, a fork of OwnCloud Infinite Scale. Need to do some more testing, though.

@nuintari F-Droid has been great. After moving from #gmail to #mailbox_org I switched my mobile mail app to #K9 and have been using the #Fossify apps. While they may not have the most features, they are minimal and that's appreciated.

I still have some work to do in #deGoogling. #Nextcloud or another solution as well as finding a #googlevoice alternative.

#fdroid has been overall a positive experience. It reminds me of #googleplay from circa 2011.

Question for #Fediverse experts: There's a new community I became a part of that communicates primarily through a #Signal group atm.

Pretty good (#Whatsapp is still the standard here) but they're not completely happy with it. One of the reasons I heard was that they'd like some way to organise #events, hold #polls, distribute #files and other info..

Is there a #Fedi #platform that offers these things? Or would something like #Nextcloud be a better option?

I think my dalliance with #android may be coming to an end. I bought this titan 2 phone backing a kickstarter. It has been very unreliable. Maybe it is android 15. Maybe it is my wacky settings (i try to log out of google and do as little with them as possible). I restrict or remove permissions on a lot of stuff. It could be instability in the maker's mods to android. I don't know. But i deal with crashes. A lot

The fact is that two email programs (Thunderbird and K-9) won't run. They literally crash when opened. ProtonVPN crashes as soon as i tap "sign in". I cant remember the last time i dealt with this on my #iPhone. With this android phone it's a daily thing. I used the built-in gmail app and even it crashes sometimes.

I still don't have all my #nextcloud services integrated. I have installed TWO helper apps already (DAVx and IMAP notes) to get contacts, calendars, and notes. I STILL don't have reminder lists working. All these things were effortless on IOS. On android it's not supported out of the boxand i have to search for a workaround.

@bagder That's very admirable. So many (big) Open Source projects just don't prioritize their "Issues" count/triage process (or think they don't have the resources) and it becomes an outdated and duplication-riddled hell. Looking at you, #Nextcloud.

I've come to the conclusion that, while I am still using #Windows 11 out of inertia, it's time to contemplate an exit plan towards #Linux . The switch won't be any time soon (I have too much other stuff on my plate for the foreseeable future), but I do want to avoid paying further license fees to #Microsoft .

Major areas of concern:

- My #Steam library. I am by no means a heavy gamer, but I want to check if the major games I enjoy are known to work on Linux.
- Migrating away from #GoogleDrive towards #NextCloud is going to be a major chore, but it's something I can start in advance.
- I am a very heavy user of Notepad++ for my #TeXLaTeX typesetting, so I need a replacement whose user experience comes close (and no, neither vim nor emacs count).

As for what distribution to choose... I dunno. Lots of people at my place of work use #Debian , so maybe that would be a good idea?

After the #Nextcloud 31→32 upgrade, config check is red:

I did so last December and it was the most empowering thing. I'm now the admin of my own GoToSocial, Pixelfed, PeerTube and NextCloud instances.

#Nextcloud 32.0.1 is available according to my server. The changelog hasn't been posted to their website yet, but the update is available if you want it, at least if you're using the manual tarball version with your own database/webserver setup like I am. I'm not sure about the availability of the snap or docker versions.

Depuis plusieurs années, je galère à utiliser l'appli #Nextcloud pour #Android pour envoyer mes photos, sauvegardes Signal/SMS, etc. Depuis quelques mois c'est même devenu impossible, l'appli n'est vraiment pas faite pour gérer des gros volumes. Donc je me suis temporairement rabattu sur l'appli (non libre) https://foldersync.io/ qui permet de synchroniser facilement un répertoire avec un serveur Nextcloud. C'est un peu lent mais c'est fiable et ça affiche clairement la progression et les stats

Sans le vouloir, j'ai converti @Claire à @CollaboraOffice à la place de @libreoffice.

No spoilers here (and vote if you can) but my heart aches a little for the fact Sharkey didn't get much love. It's the fedi software I'm most tempted to install because I LOVE its UX/UI... it's just that I have enough ActivityPub profiles as it is 🤪​

It totally makes sense to see what's the popular choice for now and I'd be thrilled to feature it in my guide, as it has become absolutely essential to me.
