Mes parents disent que leurs #chats se lèvent et les réveillent à heures fixes le matin.
Chez moi c'est l'inverse, dans la plupart des cas, Kimy attend qu'on se lève. Bruits de pas, portes qui s'ouvrent, robinet de la salle de bain qui coule, sont les indications qui lui disent qu'elle doit se lever à son tour, qu'il soit 5 ou 10 heures du matin.

@rl_dane I have had probably close to 10 #cats across my lifetime on this planet. My first cat as an adult was Scout, a big black polydactyl #cat, who used to belong to my landlord. He was my wife's gateway cat.
After he passed, we adopted two year and a half old bonded brother #kittens, Mario and Luigi. It was a real learning experience for my wife. They would routinely jump from the floor to the top of the fridge and steal *our* food mid-bite. 🤣
Cats are such fun and wonderful animals.

While I obviously can't say for certain it has seemed to me for the last few weeks of litter-box cleanings that the amount of poop I've been removing from the litter-boxes has not been consistent with the amount of food the #cats are ingesting.
Since both cats seem to be in perfect health, I am less concerned that this may indicate a health concern and more concerned with where they may be depositing the missing poop. 🤔😬

When we first moved to California we wanted to adopt a kitten. We went to a shelter and a grumpy 11yo tortie yelled at us. We brought her home instead.
She lived for 8 more years.
As she got older she was no longer able to climb the stairs to come up to the bedroom to cuddle, which was her favorite thing. If I wasn’t downstairs by 7am she would scream for me, like a baby. We would then have to cuddle on the couch for an hour before breakfast. I called it the cuddle alarm clock.
So all of my alarms for 6:30am and 7am still say ‘cuddle cat’
We lost her earlier this year but she has forever changed our lives and minds on torties, old cats and cat cuddles.
I loved this little oppressive cuddler so much

Can recommend the Laucke #CWA scone mix. Small donation goes to the Country Women's Association of South Australia, all I had to measure out was water, my girlfriend was delighted and so was the cat. 10/10.
The box says "Makes delicious 20 large scones", and I got 18 out of the first batch using half the mix. I guess I could've picked a bigger cutter, but these were good as bite-size snacks.

Thor had a very stressful day because there were thunderstorms. Ironically, Thor is scared of thunder.
It took me forever to find him because he is not usually allowed in the bathroom by himself. But I left the door open and he decided between the bathtub and the toilet was the safest place to be.
He is doing a lot better now that the storms have passed.
