                                                                                          Petit rappel de chronologie, basée sur l'article wikipédia en anglais :

                                                                                          1. début 2025, Trump a imposé des droits de douanes très importants à plusieurs pays dont le Mexique (25%), la Chine (10%) et le Canada (25%)
                                                                                          2. Ces droits ont été suspendus, augmentés, mis en pause, rétablis pendant les mois qui ont suivis, et aussi étendus à des tas d'autres partenaires commerciaux.
                                                                                          3. Entre janvier et avril 2025, le taux effectif des droits de douanes est donc passé de 2,5% à 27%, son montant le plus élevé depuis un siècle
                                                                                          4. Après un certain nombre d'accords et de négociations directes, c'est redescendu à "seulement" 16,8% en novembre 2025
                                                                                          5. En 2025, les états-unis ont perçu 287 milliards USD de droits de douanes, un chiffre qui a triplé depuis 2024.

                                                                                          On comprend très bien l'enjeux financier avec ces chiffres. Le résultat de cette politique, c'est aussi énormément d'incertitude au niveau mondial, puisque des tas de pays commerçant avec les états-unis se sont retrouvés dans des situations de merde, et aux US même ça a déclenché des faillites, une inflation énorme, une réduction des exportations (puisque les autres pays ont imité les US pour se défendre)

                                                                                            Conséquence immédiate :

                                                                                            1. L'administration US va potentiellement devoir rembourser 175 milliards USD de trop perçu [source]
                                                                                            2. Trump cherche un autre moyen légal de réimposer des droits de douane similaire. Donc le lendemain de l'arrêt de SCOTUS, il a annoncé qu'il utiliserait un décret pour réimposer des droits de douanes uniformes de 15% à tous les partenaires commerciaux des états-unis. Y compris ceux qui avaient négocié avec succès des taux plus faibles dans les mois précédents. [Source]
